Job Description
Quality Inspector
Shift: 1st, (6am-2:30pm)
Pay: $16-19/hr + Based on experience
Job Description:
- Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specification.
- Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits.
- Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.
- Test finishing products for paint quality and thickness, welding quality, dimensions, fit and appearances.
- Perform test including hardness testing and magna-flux testing.
- Route product for rework.
- Ensure finished product is packaged and loaded correctly to minimize possible damage during transportation.
- Analyze inspection results and assist in addressing and resolving production problems causing deviations from existing standards
