Material Handling

Hours: 1st shift, 4:30am-noon
Salary: $16.81 to $17.94 to upper range $19.80/ hr

JOB SUMMARY:
The Fabrication Material Handler is responsible maintaining stocking levels of bins and packaging materials in fabrication as well as locating received purchased items in Receiving department.  This position will also assist with material handling needs in the shipping department as needed.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  1. Move work in process material from the Receiving and fabrication department using work instructions and bill of material pick lists.
  2. Move empty bins or dunnage from the stocking locations to the fabrication cells. Move finished material for outside service, paint, and assembly staging.
  3. Keep fixtures and locations organized.
  4. Locate and kit material for fabrication cells.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:
  1. High School Diploma or general equivalent.
  2. Previous experience or certification driving a forklift. 
  3. Experience working in a team environment.
  4. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:
First shift hours vary quite a bit. It will be between 4-6am and leave around 12-2pm.
