Journey Worker Maintenance Mechanic

Embark on a rewarding career as a Journey Worker Maintenance Mechanic on our 1st shift. As a key player, you'll excel in repairing and maintaining a variety of machinery and mechanical/electronic equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Leverage your expertise in analyzing and resolving mechanical issues, managing maintenance supplies, and completing preventative maintenance. With a Certified State Indentured Journeyman designation and two years of vocational or high school education paired with a four-year apprenticeship, bring your skills in machining technology, precision measuring, and Millwright expertise. Shift: 1st, (5am-1:30pm)

Pay: $31/hr. Based on Experience 

Job Description:
  • Analyzes and resolves mechanical issues                                    
  • Analyzes, diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves most problems*                        
  • Knowledge of MP2 (Preventative Maintenance) Program*                                                
  • Manages inventory of maintenance supplies/Contacts vendors                                                
  • Ensures building security and building maintenance*                                                
  • Completes scheduled preventative maintenance (PM)*                                                
  • Assists with machinery and equipment installation.                                    
  • Certifies employees in forklift operations.                                    
  • Proficient in most required department equipment setups
