Metal Fabrication Tech
Pay rate: $17+/hr based on experience
Milwaukee, WI
We are looking for dedicated team members that are detail oriented to work in our metal fabrication shop!
 
2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 3pm – 12am
 
Job Description
  1. Measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in conformance with engineering or sales specifications using materials, methods and equipment in the shop(included but not limited to: sanders, drills, air and electric hand cutting tools)
  2. Material fit ups and layouts with steel
  3. Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools 
  4. Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
  5. Sanding/grinding
  6. Breaking out large pieces of steel
  7. Material handling when required
Requirements
  1. Manufacturing experience
  2. Able to read blue prints
  3. Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
  4. Ability to compute basic math equations
  5. Must be highly motivated
  6. Able to communicate and work well with others
  7. Read, write and speak English fluently
  8. Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
  9. Ability to lift up to 50lb
  10. Steel toe shoes or boots
